Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders

Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders (CORD) is Canada’s national network for organizations representing all those with rare disorders. CORD provides a strong common voice to advocate for health policy and a health care system that works for those with rare disorders. CORD works with governments, researchers, clinicians and industry to promote research, diagnosis, treatment and services for all rare disorders in Canada.

During 2016, GSK funded the Canadian Organization for Rare Disorders with:

  • $5,000 in corporate sponsorship  
  • $5,000 in project funding

GSK’s contributions represent 1.8% of the organization’s total revenue for 2016.
