Marie-Christine Locas was appointed to the role of Site Director in January 2024 and is responsible for the operations of the vaccines manufacturing centre located in Parc technologique (Technology Park) in Ste. Foy, Quebec City. She sits on GSK Canadian Country Executive Board representing GSK vaccines manufacturing.
Marie-Christine brings with her 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry, predominantly in the vaccines sector. Before joining GSK, she held the position of General Manager at the IQVIA Vaccines Laboratory in Laval, Quebec. Prior to that, Marie-Christine held several management roles at Medicago in Quebec and Sanofi in Toronto. She started her career in the development of monoclonal antibodies at Biogen in San Diego, USA. Through these roles she has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and possesses deep expertise in continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Marie-Christine holds a Master's degree MSc. (A.) in Chemical Engineer in Biotechnology process Modelling from Polytechnique Montreal in Montreal, Quebec.
