GSK provides support for an organization’s priorities and initiatives in an area of focus that includes:
Academic support
Financial support for education, training, and teaching, where GSK funds not the individual but the organization or the program that awards the support. GSK does not select the recipients of the financial support.
If the funding request includes any commercial benefit (e.g., exhibit booth space, sponsorship recognition, or complimentary conference registration). Please submit conference sponsorship requests to the conference sponsorship team at: ca.conference-sponsorship@gsk.com.
Travel grant: funding program supporting travel, accommodation and / or registration fees ONLY, aimed at enabling healthcare professionals / other healthcare staff or scientists to attend medical or scientific congress / conference. A selection process must be in place, based on merit and / or need (participants from Low-Middle Income Countries).

Independent patient assistance
Funds provided to Independent Patient Assistance Foundations are used to provide grants directly to insured patients who meet certain qualifications established by the foundation. These grants help patients pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments prescribed by their healthcare provider. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs (copay and coinsurance) for these items that their insurance company requires. These organizations are totally independent from GSK.
Patient education / advocacy
Financial support for initiatives for the interest of patients, providing information and services, support for increased medical research, and/or support for increased access to quality care.
Other
